ActReel Dramatic Institute is the creation of Govinda Röser.
Govinda has a Bachelor’s Degree in Acting from the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA).
Over the last ten years he has been working across stage and screen with some of Australia’s most prominent writers and directors.
In honing his skills, Govinda discovered a passion for sharing and teaching what he has learnt from experience and through formal training.

We provide students with information and resources to empower them to make informed decisions, where to find further support and how to navigate challenges within their chosen industries and career paths.
Govinda has worked with playwright Steven Sewell on his contemporary production ‘Kandahar Gate’ performing as Jacko.
He worked with playwright and director Michael Gow on his production ‘Writing for Performance’.
Govinda has appeared on ‘Home and Away’, worked on Jane Campion’s ‘Top of the Lake’.
He was in Pinchgut Opera’s ‘Coronation of Poppea’ and ‘Artaserse’ which received critical acclaim.
Has helped numerous actors with readings, screenings and their showreels.
He recently completed a 10 month long tour throughout Australia and New Zealand with Poetry in Action performing to thousands of students.
He is currently working on growing ActReel Dramatic Institute to provide a national standard of training workshops and courses to regional areas that often miss out.
Govinda is currently working on his own short film productions.
